MSNBC Projects Clinton to Finish 8 Delegates Ahead of Obama in Tennessean

The cable news station had already projected Hillary Clinton a winner in Tennessee, but analyst Chuck Todd said a few minutes ago that Clinton will only enjoy an 8 delegate lead over Barack Obama when all is said and done in Tennessee.

UPDATE: According to AP:
A majority of voters in the [Tennessee] Democratic primary were women and Clinton ran strongest among them against Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, particularly among married women, according to exit polls conducted for The Associated Press and the television networks ....

About nine in 10 voters in the Republican primary were white, with Huckabee and McCain each getting about a third of them. Less than a third of the voters in the Democratic primary were black — still a large turnout in Tennessee where only 17 percent of the voting age population is black — and Obama won the demographic by a large margin.Clinton found significant support among both white men and white women.
